Adorable studio apartment with a full kitchen, smaller appliances, and a full bathroom with a tile shower. Central heat/air. We are now renting it with a longer lease, for a minimum of 6 months. This is perfect for someone who travels a lot, goes between properties, perhaps building/remodeling in Highlands, or just loves to be in the mountains. It is best suited for a single adult, couples are welcome, but no pets. The main apartment is up a flight of stairs, with a main level foyer, extra small refrigerator and private entrance on the ground level. There is a full size washer and dryer on the ground level as well. The apartment is fully furnished (except for linens). The main room has a king size bed, sitting area and cafe table for dining. Flat screen TV and starlink wifi. Central air, new unit in 2022. Located three miles from Highlands Main Street, just off the Dillard Road. It is very private, has its own designated parking spot (one space only) and is nestled in the trees with a long range view in the winter months. Outside patio, with a grill and table and chairs, surrounded by privacy fencing. No smoking on the property. Serious inquiries only, credit check and security deposit required.

Renter is responsible for utilities; electric and internet, the owner pays for water, private well, designated water tank. Private parking for one car. Owner pays for grounds maintenance. Furnished, included in the rent.

    "There's no Wal-Mart or fast food joints. Life in the mountains has an easier pace. You are removed from the city, but that's why we live here, to get away from it all. There is a world class spa, fine dining on smaller scale, exquisite shops. Think Breckinridge, without the skiing.Beautiful mountains, hiking, mountain biking, floral life, live music, plays, wineries, what more do you want?"
