My daughter is in their TK program this year (the 2nd year for Ohlone) and it has been exceptional. She can read at a 1st grade level! The PTA is quite active. Parents are engaged. Very diverse & welcoming.

Everything is textbook based, until the teachers create a test with nothing you’ve learned on the textbook. The lectures were little to nonexistent and there isn’t anything to pay attention in class because it’s either going over your homework from the previous night or from the textbook. Had a security guard accuse a student of sexual harassment when they hugged their friend and their friend’s skirt lifted up a bit. Had a shooter threat and didn’t cancel school for safety. When it was smoky, I had to wait outside for multiple teachers to come back from using the bathroom during the entirety of the passing period. Over the years, most of my friends had transferred out to a better school and I should’ve done the same.

When I moved my kids to this school they've made a huge change in their attitude! This school is such an uplifting environment
