3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is comparable to the schools in DeKalb county. They do not care about student safety, or the quality of the student’s educational experience. If you have an issue, the office will fight you instead of help you. The administration does not care about your child, but some teachers do care about their job. I wonder if they’re actually good teachers just teaching their to get their student loans forgiven.Parent Review5mo ago34 Reviews - Magill Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy main issue with this school has been with the front office staff, both during events and at other times. There has been an instance where I truly felt that race played a factor in how I was treated, which is very concerning. (And other parents sharing my race) I believe everyone should be treated fairly and equally, but I have noticed that rules are not applied consistently and seem to be enforced selectively.I am also a very non-confrontational person, so feeling singled out or mistreated as a parent who is simply involved and cares about her children is both confusing and upsetting. My oldest son has attended this school for the past two years, where he has excelled and was accepted into the gifted program. My younger son, currently in kindergarten, has also excelled and was accepted into the gifted program. Their time and growth at this school are very important to me.I do appreciate that the school offers enjoyable PTA events, and the teachers have always communicated well with me.Aside from my concerns with the front office staff, I am happy with the education my children are receiving.Parent Review2mo ago19 Reviews - Grace Snell Middle School

"It’s a small town in every way you can think of. Good, bad and everything in between. The schools have lots of programs for the kids but you pay for everything."

"People are walking their dogs all the time and it’s usually quiet and clean. They can be out early in the morning, late at night or in the middle of the day. The middle of the day is ideal because most people are working so it is extremely quiet."

"It’s a quiet place that people seem to enjoy. It seems a bit expensive to live here, but I guess it’s just a competitive place to move to"

"Nice neighbors. They are great people and the houses are nice. The streets are narrow and no one follows the no parking in the streets policy. "

"The neighbors are friendly and everyone greets each other when passing by in the cars. All the kids can play with each other outside safely. It’s recommended not to leave your garage open or anything like that but nobody breaks into houses over here everyone has work and lives their life happily. They recognize the graduates with a banner in the front entrance of the neighborhood."
