4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at East campus and graduated in 2011. This school was amazing when I went. Yes, each school has its problems. There were fights, but administration dealt with it pretty well actually. Most teachers are effective and they genuinely care about meeting students needs. There were a few teachers who should not have been teaching there. I was college ready. The school does talk to their students about college, and it is emphasized more than people realize. I've since graduated and am pursuing my Master's Degree so I can say Central East did prepare me for college. There are great English teachers and Science teachers at this campus. It's just a campus that struggles to deal with student motivation on occasion, but that is most high school campuses unfortunately.Other Review8y ago11 Reviews - Rio Vista Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent within Central Unified School District, I believe in advocating not only for my own child but for all students who may feel unheard. My experience at Tilley Elementary has left me concerned about how bullying, emotional struggles, and accountability are handled. When students are navigating personal challenges, it is critical that schools respond with consistency, communication, and fairness.I observed patterns where student behavior was addressed, but concerns about peer mistreatment were not communicated back with clarity or follow up. When bullying is reported, families deserve transparency and reassurance that appropriate steps are taken. Consistency in discipline matters. Accountability should be applied evenly across the board, not selectively. There were also instances where promised follow up from the Principle did not occur, and promised calls requesting updates were not returned. Communication is a vital part of trust between families and schools. Without it, parents are left feeling unheard.Mental health concerns in elementary age students are serious and require proactive support. When students express emotional distress, schools should respond with urgency and balanced intervention. There are educators at the school who genuinely care, and I appreciate those individuals. However, overall leadership and systems around bullying response, communication, and equitable accountability need improvement.Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and treated fairly.Parent Review4mo ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 3081 N Parkview Dr #67.

"Even though I’m barely on the WestSide, the WestSide gets a bad reputation. I’ve had no issues in the 3 years that I have lived here. I had more issues when I lived in Old Fig. "

"There is alot of unnecessary crime. If parents bothered watching their kids or paying attention to what they're doing, it wouldn't be so loud and dirty. Kids just run around with no supervision. "

"I love it here. It’s quiet. And farm animals are near. Edge of the country feel. School district is great and the growth is still out in this area. "

"My neighborhood has one bus route. But has some very close markets/stores. Friendly neighbors, well maintained lawns, on most houses. But if you have multiple cars, try to park close to your house. Lots of people park every where. even in front of mine, and dont even live near me but have enough room to park in their spaces. "
