6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is A+We moved from Stockbridge to Duluth in 2019 and my kids have felt welcome here and safe. The Principal and the staff keeps things running smooth. I am amazed how prepared they were when Covid-19 hit. They were ready to go online and teach without a problem.Parent Review5y ago12 Reviews - Little Mill Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I went to this school I have absolutely nothing nice to say about it. Actually the only nice thing about this school are the teachers. Every teacher I had (besides one) were nothing but nice to me. On the other hand, one of my teachers was awful at their job. I was barely passing her class because of her constant talking about her personal life. I understand she maybe be struggling financially but, telling a bunch of 13 year olds how much money you make? Unacceptable. Also not to mention the kids. Every kid I met at that school was judgy and even just cruel. People were impersonating me online and on messages to make my life miserable. When my parents and I told the principal she said there was nothing she could do but switch schools. Which is insane to say I switch schools just because of bullying, but it got that bad. Another thing, my bus once got pulled over by a cop who pointed a gun at 6, 7, 8 (mostly 6) graders! I’m traumatized and still have anxiety from it. Also last year we had an 8th grader bring a gun? This is not safe! Last, just the education in general is bad, when I moved schools I was almost a whole month behind in what they were learning. I had to hire a Tutor, and I’m still working with a tutor just because they are all so ahead of me. Remind you this was months ago. All in all I do not recommend this school you may think I’m just some teenager who doesn’t know anything, but ask any other school what they think of this school. It’s all negative.Other Review1y ago5 Reviews - East Forsyth High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur middle child has been involved in sports and the fine arts for East. all have met and exceeded our expectations. There is tremendous student support and opportunities for them to do things our other children never did. While the school lacks the diversity of those in the southern portion of the county, there is a healthy mix of students that allows for a multicultural experience. The northern part of the county is also diversifying quickly as Forsyth grows. One only has to look at graduation rates and college prep scores to see that the 5/10 isn’t reflective of the quality of education the children receive.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 5755 Archer Ave #8A.

"Winter, spring, and fall are great! As mentioned, summers are miserable but I believe a person adapts to it over a period of years. By summer, I mean the period of June-August. By September it begins to cool down and your life is adjusted to a hot climate anyway. If you have a pool you will use it! Moved here from California so traffic is never a problem relative to that mess. And cost of living is much much cheaper. Overall, Georgia, especially Forsyth County, is a great place to live."

"Long distance from neighborhood to interstate. Even further to get to attractions/event. And traffic on the highway in the evening has become extremely heavy and going south in the am on the Main Street to the highway is heavily traveled."

"Great schools, shopping and family friendly environments. The roads need restructured but lots of grocery stores and public libraries. Garage sales are common all around. Neighbors are generally Fri fly and the county continues to grow. Taxes are relatively in middle class "

"I lived in the Polo Fields for 14 years, leaving GA six years after retiring. I found that neighbors here were snobs, too busy to become friendly with neighbors. Being from WI, I found this disturbing. The climate is great for winter and fall, but horridly humid during summers. This part of GA is victim to rainfall in the small watershed of the Chattahoochie River so that water availability for maintaining landscapes is fickle. Taxes in Forsyth County are low, especially for real estate. The Forsyth County School system is pretty good. I left to return to WI, finding a great neighborhood and very friendly people and cold winter weather---so be it. GA and Forsyth County were a great experience if you can live with the awful commutes in North Georgia and humid summers."
