4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's honestly not the teachers, its the administration. Principal has no idea what's going on in her school. She hires her friends to run and bully the teachers for her. I've seen the principal on multiple occasions yell at her staff over something that she, herself or her other school coaches started. Teachers are scared of her and are miserable based on the looks on their faces when they come in to school every day.She bullies her staff so much that each year, on average, 10-15 teachers leave to find a much better school. The lack of administration and staff communication is horrific or nonexistant.Children are herded like cattle and are not celebrated. No birthdays are allowed to be celebrated, no kindergarten graduation ceremony, not even a 5th grade graduation ceremony! The poor children are not allowed to be kids. Yes they have a school carnival and a field day for the children, but if they upset the school aids (who have more of a voice than teachers and often bully teachers as well), children get recess taken away and are forced to sit in a sweltering auditorium silently or they are talked down to and demoralized.Curriculum is a joke in this school too. Constant changing programs, the principal listens to her hired coach friends and they try out a program briefly without planning or research and it typically fails because not enough time is spent actually learning it. The teachers teach in fear each day. I can see it on their faces when I bring my child to school! Who wants to be in such a miserable situation?!If parents are looking to have their child attend here or if teachers are looking to work here, trust me, as a parent of a child who is miserable here and can't get out due to zoning and overcrowding, just be careful! Either run far away, or just be able to deal with a high level of stress, no communication, and overwhelmingness.Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - Corona Arts And Sciences Academy

"My neighborhood is the unique because I realize that I have neighbors and all carry each other families, futures, local schools, churches, and our average road bikes, walkways, bus terminal signs, food courts, your normal human being."

"The crime is going up and so are rent prices. To many smoke shops and a lot of people smoking weed. Loud never ending parties in the summer with speakers blasting music well into the following morning. I’m trying to move out of this area and into a better one. "
