High-end bedding (800 and 600-thread count linens). Serta Posturepedic mattresses. All-natural Turkish cotton towels. Quality, natural toiletries and basic kitchen supplies for 30 days.

The Great Room affords seaside entertaining, with a living-room area, reading nook, counter seating for six and a dining table for eight.

The large Gourmet Kitchen is equipped by host-family professional chefs: Theramdor appliances, Blue Star gas range, Riedel crystal, Le Crueset, Henkel's and Sur La Table cookware, natural table linens, artisanal dish ware and glassware. The master suite with king bed with bathroom en suite, has up-close ocean views, and opens to a large deck, hot tub and outdoor shower. A bedroom with a queen bed and twin includes a bathroom with a partial ocean view and a Jacuzzi tub and shower.

 From a separate entrance, The Guest Wing features a large family room, plus an upstairs bedroom with ocean view, king bed, and bathroom en suite. A ground-level bedroom includes a queen bed and bathroom en suite.

The large, oceanfront deck a features hot tub on the ocean's edge and an outdoor shower. There's also a stone dining patio shaded by Monterey Pines, perfect for watching the sunset over the surf. Gorgeous coastal landscaping with Cypress trees, rock gardens, native plants and succulents.

Available for 30 days or more.

Rate varies based on number of occupants and length of stay. Rate listed is for 2 occupants, rate varies based on number of occupants. No sub leasing, lease not transferrable, no events. Security Deposit to be determined. The home is furnished: In the case of a long-term lease, furnishings may be moved off premises only with permission of owner. No Pets, No smoking indoors or out. No one comes out to say hello—they just scurry into the house, avoid eye contact when smiled at in close proximity, & they peek at anyone outdoors as if they are a zombie looking for your next victim... very peculiar, when FUN is a crime, & silent ghost street is what it feels like to go out for a walk.     "Carmel Woods is set high enough above sea level that I can see peeks of the ocean at carmel beach. The trees are hundreds of feet TALL, & pruned to be bare, stripped of mud-length branches—prehistoric in appearance. The neighbors are all isolated and hardly social. I have never gotten beyond small talk in the 3 yrs of living here. Pollen is extremely allergenic, even in me, who is not allergic. Quiet street, to a fault. "
