About this House

This quiet, private, open and bright single-level house sits up high in one of Cambria's best neighborhoods, Lodge Hill, and is very close to the beach and East Village. It offers both mountain and sunset views, a natural setting, and a spacious deck. The laundry is situated in a detached workshop, and is available for stays longer than 14 days, or by request. Easy access to the single-level home is available by only three steps through the side door.

The floor plan is efficient, but feels large due to the vaulted ceilings and large windows. It offers two bedrooms with views, one bathroom, a dining room, a small kitchen, and a living room with views. The bathroom is en suite to the Master Bedroom, but is also accessible to the rest of the house, and offers a shower, toilet, and sink. There is a separate workshop, basement area, and one-car, enclosed carport. The efficient kitchen does not have a dishwasher, but a full range and refrigerator are included for use by the Tenant.

The Owner does not accept animals or EV charging. Please do not complete an application until you have spoken with the Owner about your stay. Stays may be negotiated to accommodate Tenant's preferences. Security deposits are required for stays longer than 28 days only. Message @redwoodheartscottage on Instagram, or call.

Landlord requests stays shorter than 28 days, and rent to be adjusted by negotiation. Longer stays are possible for the furnished rental, by negotiation. Utilities and furnishings are included in the rent rate. Property is in a natural setting and the grounds are largely unkempt, but would be knocked down every month or so. The ideal property capacity is no more than two adults. Events, additional overnight guests, and smoking are prohibited unless otherwise negotiated. In addition to the capacity of 2 adults, children are welcome on a case by case basis, because of capacity limitations. There is a cleaning fee of $150-$250, depending upon the length of your stay.

    "My parents bought in Cambria in 1977 and I love this neighborhood! You are so close to the ocean, to Cambria's West Village, to Moonstone Beach boardwalk and the Fiscalini Ranch which is a great place to walk, hike or bike! Beautiful ocean and coastal views. Lovely climate!"

    "We have stayed here, vacationed here, and love it. Maybe couples in the 30's need a bigger night life, but beyond that, it's a beautiful place to live and enjoy life. Get away from it all. The best restaurants, shopping, farmer's market, car shows, wineries, NICE people because they love where they live. Seacllift Estates is a beautiful area in Cambria......open, private, and the ocean right there. Didn't know how to rate traffic above, because there is NO TRAFFIC..... "

    "the natural beauty in Cambria is truly stunning! it is a very protected environment with regard to it's wilderness, including the oceans and shorelines. it is an incredibly family friendly and community oriented. both east and west villiages, as well as Moonstone beach, are the perfect definition of quaint and lovely. and residents are welcoming to new people who move there, as long as they are conscious to be respectful of both people and the natural environment. it's good for singles who don't want a lot of nightlife and choose a more quiet, artistic, farmer's market, and charming town to call home. we lived there and loved it. we even got married there. i worked in Cambria as the managing innkeeper for a historic bed and breakfast. we are moving back as soon as we can."
