6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was a student here, and now my daughter is. My daughter had issues in elementary school with a teacher who isolated her and her friend group by stating religious-based comments in the classroom, encouraging students in the classroom to bully my daughter and her friends. I went to administration and they did nothing. Here at Thomson, my daughter feels welcome and encouraged. Ms. Dawson is her favorite teacher and she enjoys band, chorus, and drama. Hopefully Thomson keeps their great teachers around for as long as possible!Parent Review8mo ago7 Reviews - Northside High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMany of the teachers, I would consider a "hit or miss". Some were really great, but some were genuinely awful, and didn't teach. The school doesn't really provide a welcoming environment from students of all backgrounds, and school administration would punish good students for the several bad students that they had. Many of the students were very ignorant, and I'm not sure if this stims from a lack of school resources or environments they grew up in. When I was attending this school, I genuinely hated every moment of it, and was head over heels when I left. If I'm being completely honest, I was embarrassed to say I went to this highschool because it didn't prepare me for University. I'm fortunate that I took my own initiative, to be where I am today (almost graduated with my bachelor's in a STEM subject). Overall, this school focuses way too much of it's funding, resources, and free-time into sports and meaningless activities, and not into programs that are actually going to set students up to succeed in life (academics, discipline based clubs, mental health resources, ect.) The amount of wreckless decisions that are made by administration and the board of education is pitiful, and I feel sorry for any student who was forced to attend this school. If you want your student to have a quality education, you're better off sending them to a private school.Other Review1y ago9 Reviews - Eagle Springs Elementary School

"Halloween trick or treaters, people walking….but everyone keeps to themselves. Very quiet, rarely any loud activity, no block parties that we know of. But a nice place to live if you like quiet. "

"This is one of the few neighborhoods we found while house hunting that actually had sidewalks all throughout the neighborhood. Plus a community playground for the kids. It's a nice looking, neat and tidy neighborhood, and it's quiet. Very enjoyable place to live that is conveniently located to I-75, all the newer shopping areas (Old Navy, Lowe's, Home Depot, Target, Hobby Lobby, Party City, Petco, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Wal-Mart, Kroger, etc.) and only 2 miles from the brand new Ceneterville Library."
