6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent I am disappointed in the day this school handles business. My child started 7th grade 2016-17 school year. The first time I had to pick her up early from school the office staff wasted 10 mins trying to figure out if she was even a student there. They looked in the computer system and could not find her, they then asked are you sure your child come here? I answered yes I drop her off everyday, they stated well that doesn't mean they go here students leave all the time. As a parent I was socked to hear that statement and question the safety of the students. They then found my child in the system. That same year my child Language Art teacher was out on leave for the year and parents where not notified that a sub was taking this teacher place, then when the sub left a new sub came in to the class once again no notification. After looking at my students grade I question what was happening in that class since my child went from an A to an D. I email the teacher not knowing she was on leave no reply. It was not until I had to email the counselor that I was notified that the teach was gone all year. After talking about grading system the staff notice that the whole class was missing half their assignments for that grading period. 2018-17 school year they marked my child absent from class even though she had a doctors note and after I questioned them they told me that the date ended but there was no end date to return to class. This school and district are the worst.Parent Review8y ago6 Reviews - Tracy Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attends Tracy. We are very involved as parents/guardians. The classroom have plenty of resources. The nets of supports with students with needs (academic, socio-emotional, socio-economical) are in place. Family engagement is always encouraged. My spouse participates in a school activity almost weekly. Our child is growing as an individual and as a learner. I am a teacher (not at this school or even elementary), and this is the school I selected for my child. Baldwin Park as a community is loving, inclusive, and filled with hard-working people. Yes, there is crime and some residents could be more involved in the improvement of the city as a whole. Overall, my child feels safe, included, appreciated and most importantly she is learning!I recommend you to get involved with your school, talk to teachers, know what standards students will learn in the school year, supplement their education if possible. Also, support the school and your teachers with your vote and with your voice.Parent Review11mo ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 3311-3311 N Mangum St.

"My neighborhood is a good location close to shopping centers, freeways, schools, and mall. Transportation is also available, from public transportation, trains, and to city busses. Stores like Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, and Food 4 Less are close by. Lots of Restaurants as well."

"Lots of traffic, but the upside is that it’s close to the freeways. The 10 freeway is always crowded at any given day of the week on any given time of the day."

"Out of the 4 years I've lived here, there hasn't been anything out of the ordinary. There's a small fair about 2 blocks on Maine and Badillo every Friday for a couple of weeks during summer but doesn't look very appealing, just causes traffic."

"Terrible traffic to get to downtown, but the metro link is nice. Investors are trying to gentrify it by raising housing prices, but it’s really not gentrified. The increasing housing prices is not justified. "

"I believe that 90% of my neighbors are pet owners. I see people walking their dogs everyday. There’s animal clinics conveniently located nearby and the San Gabriel Animal Shelter is located north of the city which regularly is open for adoptions. "
