3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have children in multiple grades at Campbell and have been more than pleased with the school! All the teachers are caring and work hard to ensure that my child is comfortable in the environment and grows academically. It is a diverse school where ALL students and families are valued. There are multiple programs that make this school unique including a full media production studio, creative action arts integration during and afterschool, performing arts programs including step, dance and cheer and prime-time after school/summer enrichment programs. My children have all found ways to be increasingly engaged in school through these programs. Principal Moore is an exemplary leader and the students and teachers thrive under his leadership. We appreciate how caring and firm he is with the students. The students know the expectations and are rewarded for their hard work. We are zoned to a highly ranked school and chose to do a transfer to Campbell after touring many campuses. We truly believe Campbell is a hidden gem and are happy that we found it!Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - McCallum High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe success on the magnet program is more a consequence of a very motivated student population with involved parents. There are some very strong teachers at Kealing, but there are also teachers who don't teach and rely on videos and cultivate an atmosphere of rigor through an excessive amount of homework rather than truly challenging the students. This is especially true of math where busywork reigns supreme and instruction is at a minimum. Math teachers overuse videos and there are no textbooks but abundant worksheets and weekend deadlines. The school provides little in the way of social emotional support during a time of life when these kids really, really need it. My children have witnessed and experienced bullying from other students and neglect from teachers; in a school with a lesser academic reputation these would be flagged but, given the high test scores, are largely ignored. I would warn parents of sensitive and/or anxious children to look elsewhere.Parent Review5mo ago39 Reviews - Check out schools near 2203 E 16th St.

"Several nearby parks and trails to walk your dog. If your dog is good off leash you can let them off and people seem cool with it. "

"Fast drivers, not much parking, rude newcomers, inflated prices, super high taxes, great bars, few remaining old stock homes due to greedy developers, more rentals popping up, and A few awesome neighbors. Pet friendly."

"Fantastic time to live, buy/rent in the Chestnut area. It's vibrant, booming, yet still feels "real" with a cool mix of cutting edge modern homes and charming pride of ownership older homes. If you're super lucky you may just spot that rarest of rarities these days - a fixer upper."
