4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe majority of substitutes ( long and short term) have no qualifications for teaching and have no experience/knowledge of 504 accommodations or classroom instruction/ management and de escalation strategies. There GT program is basically non existent. The principal delegates the majority of disciplinary and parent collaboration to other staff. While being un receptive to parent concerns. Staff contract renewals are based on their ability to be apart of the team( click). Every staff that has made a positive contribution to my child’s education has not been retained. Turnover seems high.Parent Review1y ago2 Reviews - Cony

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s been many many moons since I attended Cony. But I do know kids who currently attend. Cony is a great school and the teachers really care about the students. I would definitely recommend Cony and if I still had school age kids and I lived in the area still (I live in Topsham now but my parents and sister still live in Augusta) I wouldn’t hesitate to send them to Cony High School. Also, they have excellent sports programs!Other Review1y ago1 Reviews - Cony Middle School

"Drug addicts and drunks for neighbors, no real industrial sector - only jobs are in medical field or fast food / retail. Taxes are extremely high. I have never lived anywhere else that had taxes this high. We plan on moving as soon as we can. Coming to Augusta was a mistake."
