3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMcNair Middle School has been one of the worst experiences for my child and family. The administration, especially the principal and 8th grade assistant principal, are dishonest and do not truly support students or parents. Instead of helping children succeed academically, they seem more focused on control and micromanaging every little thing.Students are suspended for minor and unnecessary reasons while real issues are ignored. There is little concern for students’ grades, academic growth, or emotional well-being. Parents’ concerns are brushed aside, communication is unprofessional, and accountability is lacking across the board. The environment feels chaotic and disorganized — like a circus instead of a place for learning and growth. A school should encourage children, support families, and create opportunities for success, but unfortunately that has not been our experience at McNair Middle School.Parent Review1mo ago10 Reviews - Mcnair High School

"If you run a kennel type business like Rover, MAA Chastain is the place to be. Right by the big Chastain and has its own dog park for pups. Seems tolerated by staff so thumbs up 👍 "

"I've lived and worked in Virginia Highlands for almost 50 years, renovating houses, apartments and building houses. It's been a great ride watching all the changes, in housing shifts and demographics. I'm not sure if I could think of a better or safer place to be. "

"“Leave Early” is an old Atlanta Proverb. Traffic is always somewhere and it will find you. Carpooling is encouraged, MARTA also has its benefits but it needs more work. A car is unfortunately necessary."
