4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student who attends this school, it’s not horrible. The teachers are fine and counselors are extremely nice. There’s just a lot of discrimination and racism towards BLK. It seems as though there’s a white supremacy in the school and it’s mainly focused on dress code. I’ve seen multiple white girls wearing tennis skirts, short shorts, crop tops, etc. I’ve worn shorts, dress coded, ripped jeans, dress coded, low cut top, dress coded. Somehow, black girls especially are always “out of dress code.” It’s to the point where we’d just show up to school in sweatpants and sweaters in the blazing heat, not wanting to get called out. It’s not a bad school, I just want more equality. I’m big on Black Lives Matter and those movements so I’d love to share my opinion on this. Thank you for reading.Student Review7mo ago8 Reviews - Swift Elementary School

"It’s a safe and quiet neighborhood. People do speed on the side streets that connect to Westgate. That is the only problem."

"Not every street has a sidewalk so you will either be in the street or at the edge of someone's lawn. It does have nice views though and I personally haven't had any issues with drivers unaware of me."

"Nice place to live, close to downtown Arlington and shops plus entertainment. Six flags is 15 min. drive same with the stadiums. Plenty of restaurants within a 15 mile radius. Beautiful local parks nearby, bonus is walking distance to the library and community centers. Friendly community that feels safe to walk in along with pet friendly. New dog park was added in the last year as well. "

""Woodland West Estate has more awesome community area benefits. Like 2 miles from high school, downtown Arlington and UTA. Shopping is in walking distances for older and the young. Plus, banking, restaurants, park, Elementary and Junior High School. Three grocery stores also within a walk. Lived here over 50 years and never had a theft. Creek and some wildlife. We love it.""
