2 bedroom 1 bath house for rent on Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata. Single family home on a multi-dwelling property.

ALL UTILITIES AND WIFI ARE INCLUDED IN RENTAL PRICE!

Located next to the community forest 1 mile from Cal Poly Humboldt. This cozy cabin in the woods will be available on November 1. It includes a washer and dryer in unit, refrigerator, microwave, and electric stove/oven. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom downstairs with a large open concept kitchen and living space upstairs. Plenty of natural light from large windows and sky lights. Private patio off the kitchen and lots of parking. There is a private trail leading to the community forest and it is possible to walk or bike to Cal Poly Humboldt and the plaza through the forest. All utilities are included in the rent and WiFi is also provided. Security deposit is $2000. Tenancy is month to month but a long term lease will be negotiable. Proof of income and credit/background check as well as rental references or co-signer is required. If interested please text or email with a bit about yourself and I will respond back with possible times to schedule a phone call and a showing.

The lease will be month to month. If long term tenancy is preferred we will consider a one year lease after six months of tenancy.

All utilities are included in the rental price and WiFi is also provided through Starlink.

There is private parking for up to 4 vehicles.
Owner is responsible for maintaining the yard however tenant will be expected to keep the deck and porch free of debris. No potted plants on the wood deck only on the concrete porch.

    "There is a bus stop on my corner and I can walk to town in less than 20 minutes. It is very bike friendly and I ride my bike to work everyday. The speed limit is 25 mph in 95% of town. "

    "I can walk just about everywhere I need to go. My neighborhood has 5 Restaurants a quarter mile away and about 10 more a mile to 2 miles always. I can walk to 2 different grocery store, parks, the post office, town square where the Farmers Market is on Saturday’s. The south freeway is just 3 streets up or 2 streets behind me for north. I feel safe to walk all around my neighborhood. I take my pit bull on walks 2-3 times a day and the neighborhood people just love him. "

    "This area is very good for walking your dogs and taking them out and about. Unfortunately, many rentals dont allow dogs. People still have them though so that ones for you to figure out. "

    "I live by two bus stops that pick up once every hour to go either one way towards downtown or the other. The commute is pretty easy (only takes about 15-20 minutes to get downtown), although sometimes there will be people on the bus that stare at me/make me feel a bit unsettled. "

    "College town mixed with various hippy style artists from around the world. A very Community oriented area accepting of all of even the most eccentric characters. Where else in the world do you see dog being pushed in a stroller on the same sidewalk as a guy who walk his yak around town. Los Bagels a Jewish Mexican biracial owned bakery and bagel shop is a social hub which represents the diversity here well. Lots of community events for local businesses to set up stands around the Arcata Plaza."

    "I live here and love the people, the wildlife, and protection from any winds, the gorgeous trees. This road is a popular runner's and biking loop, 4.5 mi long. Houses are far apart, and the golf course is a beautiful. "
