"No public transport here, but amazing neighbors and quiet. Fireworks at right times of the year, not a ton of small kids around. My first year here so will see about Halloween. Our first week here we had several neighbors come over for introductions, became fast friends."

"Mercedes hosts the annual stock show & city Christmas parade. It also has an outlet mall. The city is small making it easy to travel around. "

"No commute as we work from home, however, traffic can sometimes be heavy and it’s best to leave earlier than what may be considered normal. Especially congested in the winter months as all the winter Texans are visiting"
