This school and district have gone down hill this year. They have money problems out the rear. There is rampant bullying from students and some of the teachers. The Principal is more concerned about being the "fun guy" than actually running this school appropriately. The school counselor is adversarial and nasty to the kids. They refuse to partner with some families to better support children, and if you advocate for your child, they will target them and make them suffer for the parent standing up for them. Teachers dismiss kids when they ask for help, and some don't provide their students with support. 504 and IEPs are not being followed. Some parents have started obtaining legal counsel because it is so out of contol. Do your family a favor and explore the surrounding districts that have better success and more competent staff.

"It’s gone down hill. High schoolers drive crazy down the road and hardly any truck or treaters. It used to be a great neighborhood but not anymore. And the raccoons are ridiculous "

"we go to Trappers Day every year, which is always the second weekend of September. starts with a pancake breakfast, then the parade. Lots of vendors, and check out the Trappers and their wares down by the Platte River"
