4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDenfeld has been wonderful for my child. When my child started there three years ago, his grades were not that great. Through the inspiration of the teachers and staff, I watched my child soar! Not only are their grades almost at a 3.9 (taking AP courses) but my child is also happy almost every day. In addition, the other students are very supportive of each other. If you're thinking of sending your child here, I would say this: in a time when so many kids don't have a lot of social interaction with each other, the Denfeld students really bond together and most likely your child will be able to make long lasting friendships. In addition, the teachers are Denfeld are phenomenal! I really can't say enough about how wonderful they are. My son is always telling me stories of how the teachers interact with their students. They genuinely care about their students; they show them by being present and putting in the extra effort to make sure they feel heard and that they understand the class material. "I used to live here. Morgan park used to have allot of crime. The community worked together to clean it up. It's now a nice place to live again and quiet . Bus lines go out there. They have a nice play ground and community center. It's allot of families and older people who live there. "

"Morgan park is a nice quiet little community tucked away from the rest of the city. It was built in the early 1900's and since many of the original buildings remain, it has retained its character and charm from that era. The residents are very friendly which gives it the feel of a nice small town, although it only a few minutes from the amenities of the city. "

"Built by US Steel, Morgan Park is a true historic disctrict. The homes were built by the company to house their workers and have several floor plans based on the owner, manager, executive, etc. They featured all utilities underground and the community had a school, hospital, shopping, bank and a Catholic and Protestant church. "
