About this House

Here is an opportunity that rarely presents itself — a private almost two-acre estate, a bold architectural statement, and the freedom to make it entirely your own. Built in the late 1970s with a distinctly modern sensibility, this 3-bedroom home stands apart by design, not by accident. It was built for someone with a different vision, and it is waiting for someone who has one again. The footprint is generous and the amenities are extraordinary. A private tennis court and an authentic Finnish-style sauna — featuring a Harvia wood-burning stove for both wet and dry experiences — speak to a lifestyle simply not replicated at this price point. Step into the cooling room to unwind, then head downstairs to a fully finished basement complete with a wet bar, wood stove, game room, and a dedicated wine cellar space. When the day slows down, step outside onto the expansive decks and take it all in. A spacious 2-car garage rounds out the property.

  • Adam Graham
"We bought our home here in Reading 13 years ago when our first child was 1. We have 2 now and have been very happy with the schools and arts programs. Lots of walkers and joggers, several solid restaurants and take out places, a liquor store that has the biggest craft beer selection I've ever seen in my life, nice police officers, good road upkeep. I'm very happy to be raising my kids in this town."
  • 4yztwzyc4k
"Friendly people not a lot of noise. Lots of trees and grass. Town forest is very close by. Not a lot of trash"
  • Shauntsullivan
"Plenty of dogs in the neighborhood. Very friendly and most neighbors walk with leases. It is rare but being close to the woods and/or highway there are some fisher cats in recent years. Today a coyote was spotted in the neighborhood. Again, that was reported maybe 7 times in 10 years but pet owners need to keep an eye out for the little ones! "
  • Johnsonle
"Safe and friendly neighborhood where kids are always out playing and riding bikes. Supportive parents"
