"the fireworks set off by neighbors and siren klaxon noises from two local firehouses are the worst for dog owners - both are disturbing however, luckily on the downslope as a trend for a more peaceful updated modern community tucked in the wooded mountains with nice communities. Thankfully no hunting or gunshots nearby."
  • Clairepasquale1995

"These "older" homes at lower part of mountain have lower taxes than the mcmansions just up the hill but afford all the privacy due to zoned acre lots, the trees nature and the acccesibility to major highways in minutes. The schools are top notch. If you can afford more consider one of these- fix it up to your liking ,keep more money in your pocket and enjoy life !!!"

Short walk down road to access Washington Valley Park, with miles of scenic interconnecting trails through unspoiled woods and streams at base of Watchung Mountains. Magical area where you can truly enjoy nature while still being close to everyday conveniences, top-notch schools, great shopping, easy NYC commute, etc."
