6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo, I am a 8th grader in this school, and for a second, I thought this was a good school. ITS NOT. I saw a kid get pantsed in the gym 3 TIMES BY THE SAME PERSON. Then when he went for the 4th time in 15 MINUTES the kid turned around and "scared him." Then the kid who scared him got in more trouble While the kid who did the pantsing got off Scott free. How does that work you ask? I don't have the FOGGIEST IDEA. I don't know why this is on "great schools.org." Its the complete OPPOSITE. This should be on Terrible schools.org. So overall 1 star. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers at this school care about every child. They get to know the families and will go out of their way to help make things better for the families. The principal is stands firm against bullies and all students, staff and families know she takes it seriously. It is a no tolerance! They have great interventions in place to help students who are behind as well as ways to challenge those who are above. Tanaina staff cares about EVERY child.Other Review3y ago5 Reviews - Burchell High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a Burchell High School graduate. I was very reserved when I was in high school, which led to me being severely bullied at Colony High School. At Burchell I found a supportive environment, caring staff, and the freedom to study my areas of interest independently. The staff involved themselves with my education to a point that was truly impressive. They care a great deal and it shows. Burchell has a reputation for being a slacker school, but it is just the opposite: staff here expect all students to exert themselves. While attending Burchell I was able to hold a part-time job and also take college classes thanks to their flexible scheduling policies, and thanks to this school I was accepted to a prestigious foreign exchange program just after I graduated. Burchell High School pretty much changed my life. Highly recommended.Student Review15y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 981 Cache Dr #B2.

"I only live 4 miles away from where I work so my commute is amazing ! Where I live, a couple neighbors even help plow the road we live on and our driveway entrances in heavy snow to help the community as a whole. "

"My commute isn’t far at all. Depending on the worsening traffic, it can take anywhere between 7-30 minutes. And that’s here in town. "

"Wasilla is a large space. Depending on where in this city you live, depends on how close or far your neighbor could be from your home. Dogs in our neighborhood for the most part are quiet, and people clean up after their dogs - most of the time. Lots of space in our neighborhood to walk, it’s considered rural so no sidewalks but very little traffic "

"Dogs bark and get loose often. People will let their dogs out to poop in your yard. It's important to have fencing to deter animals from pooping or coming into your yard. "

"Some dogs are escape artists and run the street, pooping in other peoples yards. The owners don’t bother to try to clean up. It’s too woodsy. Most people are very respectful with their animals. Walking them on leash and making sure they aren’t causing others problems."
