Description

This brick ranch home built in 1974 has seen many hurricanes situated on the eastern coast of North Carolina. She has fared well through them all! This single family home was purchased in 2007 as investment property and has been utilized as rental property for both residential and business. Tenant occupied currently with a thirty day notice to vacate the premises. This home features a living room and three bedrooms with oak flooring. The bathrooms are both tile and the one was renovated with new shower/tub, toilet, vanity and flooring in 2019. The second bathroom is tiled shower and floor and has had the vanity replaced several years back. Kitchen while dated has plentiful cabinets and a nice dining room area with sliding glass doors (replaced in 2008) leading to the a back patio and yard. Linoleum on the floors in Kitchen and dining area but if I were to bet I would say the floors underneath are the oak, we did not remove the original flooring. Two additional closets; one located in hallway and the other in the living room area. Attached single car garage with work bench and laundry connections in garage. Garage door needs some repairs but does have automatic garage door opener. This garage could also be enclosed to add more living space very easily. There is also an exit door from garage as well. Plumbing/pipes under house was replaced in early 2020. The roof was replaced with 25 year shingles in 2019 as well as the one bathroom mentioned previously. Hot water tank and well pump in 2018 and septic lines replaced in 2017. This home sits on .46 acres of which the backyard is completely fenced in with an existing attached dog kennel and several gates for entry including single and double gates to pull a vehicle in. A large shed and beautiful oak trees and azaleas. Great neighbors and is centrally located in Hampstead right off of Hwy 17 and is within the highly rated Topsail School District. Showing by appointment only. 910-612-4256

  • Patnystrom
"Living in Hampstead feels like living in a small friendly town of 60 years ago; people wave and speak, even to strangers, and help each other in times of need. The weather is influenced by the Gulf Stream, so it's always cooler (or warmer) than in nearby inland communities. While it is quiet here, there is plenty to do, especially if you like water activities, and both Wilmington and Raleigh have a lot to offer in terms of culture, concerts, and night life."
  • Leo U.
"I have no idea what this post is referring too. I have lived in Hampstead Pines since the beginning. No through streets lots of Cul-de-sac streets for the kids to ride bikes, play basketball safely! Great location to Wilmington and Jacksonville and Topsail Schools is one of the best in NC."
  • Melanie b.
"Hampstead is desirable for excellent schools, healthy lifestyles with fishing, boating, golf, tennis, surfing, kayaking, swimming, kids sports leagues, gardening. Laid back living."
