During my time at this school, I experienced an environment that was constantly disorganized and lacking the level of structure for both students and staff to succeed. There appeared to be ongoing challenges with coordination and communication among faculty, which contributed to confusion and inconsistency in expectations across classrooms. This lack of cohesion made it difficult to maintain a unified approach to student behavior, academic standards, and overall school culture. One of the most significant concerns was the apparent absence of effective collaboration and mutual respect among staff members. In many instances, teachers operated in isolation without meaningful coordination or support from their colleagues. This dynamic often led to inconsistent classroom management practices and uneven enforcement of rules and expectations. As a result, students frequently received mixed messages about acceptable behavior, which undermined authority in the classroom and contributed to a lack of accountability. Student behavior, in particular, was an ongoing challenge. Many students struggled to follow instructions or remain engaged, and there did not appear to be sufficient systems in place to address these issues in a consistent and constructive manner. Without clear, school-wide behavioral expectations and adequate administrative support, managing these challenges became increasingly difficult. This not only impacted the learning environment but also created additional stress for staff members attempting to maintain order and provide quality instruction. Another area of concern was the level of support provided by administration. From the beginning of my employment, I did not feel that I was given the tools, guidance, or encouragement necessary to succeed in my role. Opportunities for professional development, mentorship, or constructive feedback were limited. Instead of fostering growth and improvement, the overall approach often felt unsupportive. At times, it seemed as though there was an underlying effort to push certain staff members out rather than invest in their development and long-term success.

I graduated from Salem Hills High School. I have many fond memories of those years. Of course there was an occasional spat with some other student, but by and large it is a good community. The teachers were phenomenal and the administration was very supportive. I knew that every adult in that school truly cared about me.

Mrs barker was awesome she is the best 9th grade math teacher i learned so much from her and i understood it
