"Easy interesting walks with lots of good smells."
  • Northridge resident
"The closest freeway on-ramp is about 15 minutes away and almost everything requires a commute. Nothing is centrally located and the area is much hotter than other parts of the valley. Iโ€™ve lived in the San Fernando Valley for almost 50 years in different parts and this is, by far, my least favorite area to live. "
  • Tiffany armstead
"My commute is ruff after leaving the house past 7am. Traffic can take 45-1hr to get to and from work"
  • Evelia
"Nice area to walk your dogs. Youโ€™ll see lots of owners taking their dogs for walks at the campus. Everyone is respectful and has their dogs on leashes. "
  • Ariel Flores
"Everyone keeps to themselves. But if you are walking your dog, other people will smile and say hello. There are a lot of coyotes in the area because of the Aliso Creek so be careful. Police are nearby and they are responsive. More homeless vehicles are popping up, but those camping in front of businesses are removed quickly. Overall, very safe and clean. "
  • Djgmyzwdkp
"Great place to raise kids, close to parks, music centers, and childrenโ€™s private classes , water wings, gymnasium etc."
  • Trulia User
"118 is right next door so easy to get to Burbank, Downtown, and Hollywood avoiding the 101. Also can get up north to Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks easily without taking the 101."
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"Great area with decent schools and university located in its center. Its close proximity to the college means that there is a large amount of events and culture abound. Still, a great place to raise children. A wonderful place for families and students alike."
