A quick cab ride to business or if you prefer take a bus, and for those of you that commute to work you’re 5 minutes or less to the freeway yet far enough not to hear the traffic as you get ready to commute to Santa Barbara or Santa Monica beaches. After arriving home from work why not take a relaxing and pleasant stroll at the East Village Park. The new 6 acre park, under Construction, is located right next to the new Rio Rosales Middle School. Amenities will include but will not be limited to tennis courts, basketball courts, a rubberized running track around the park; concrete walkways and curbs throughout; a playground with two distinct age groups of equipment; exercise equipment area; a prefabricated restroom building; picnic areas with tables and barbecues; installation of fixtures such as trash cans~ bike racks and bollards; landscape and irrigation system and plantings; safety lighting and fencing around the park area and a park Monument sign . The center is located within the RiverPark subdivision of Oxnard. A totally comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable location."
