    "West Village is very much North Oxnardโ€™s diamond in the rough, especially the Villa Santa Cruz portion! It comes off as a quiet, private, respectful, supportive, and inviting area of Oxnard to settle down in. Every night you see diverse, friendly neighbors out walking their dogs or exercising. Most families we know living in the area have older kids or grown families, although there are a handful with young ones. Most neighbors are respectful of each other and arenโ€™t too loud, Iโ€™d assume this is due to a lack of renters as most living here are property owners? Most homes don't have any bars on their windows or obnoxious fencing up as violent crime is not common for this area. There are tree lined streets, roundabouts to keep speeders to a minimum, and nearby schools with playgrounds and parks. Freeway access is nearby along with an excellent array of shopping including eateries, grocery stores and supermarkets, gas stations, coffee shops (for you caffeine addicts), hospital and medical buildings, etc. Most of this is within healthy walking distance from West "
