"not at all the best area .. the prices for the houses right now are rediculously high . like not worth it at all the houses should be half the price . "

"My commute is pretty easy on and off ramps to 680. Can be in Boardman in under 10 minutes, close to main roads "
  • Classy B.
"None. Not true. We have drinking crawls. And people love to come out and walk from bar to bar supporting their local charity."
  • Classy B.
"nothing makes this neighborhood special. it is close to 3 freeway on ramps. there is some shopping. not far from anything."

"Heroin and crack addicts and dealers are running down what used to be a nice neighborhood. People fly off of 680 doing 60 mph in a 25 on Cooper. People throw trash out of their car windows and leave dogs out to get hit. Maybe people should take more pride in the appearance of their home. It’s sad that the few houses who do clean up their yard and maintain their home have to be embarrassed of their neighborhood. "
  • Christina T.
"I don’t care for my neighborhood. Too much crime. The landlord will not keep up with the house. I would not suggest anyone moving to this neighborhood because when there is a problem, the police do not come to aid. The neighbors are loud. Also, my children can’t even play in the yard without the neighbors dogs wanting to go after my children. "
  • Former S.
"DO not live anywhere in Youngstown below the 800 block, especially on the southside...Never move between South avenue and Market...i lived here and was robbed twice in less than 6 months...Very high crime rate, lots of boarded up and torn down homes. High gang activity and robbery. If you want honesty call the block watch people, do not call the cops, they will not give you the information. Better yet, go online and type in the address of a home you want, and look for new stories in the area. Please trust me on this, i have 3 children and would NEVER live on the southside again, ever."
