"The neighbors in this area make it worth living here. Only second to the charming architecture. Just wish there were better local restaurants!"
  • Radford20
"There is a lot of cookouts and family and community get togethers also. Our community comes together when we really need it the most. A lot of church charities and school charities. Not all Springfield is bad. Also the ymca is a good community even center to. This is my home town and there is still good left in this town. Not all is bad. Also the soup kitchen where it feeds the homeless and also gives the people clothes. There is also basketball courts where the community can get together and play basketball and enjoy it and have fun. There’s a skate park also where younger kids skate and ride there bikes at. There is a lot of bike trails and fields to play sports "
  • Aubreeann887
"Here the neighbors are not too friendly I have had a lot of issues they also blare music all night and have traffic all day long "
  • Devon H.
"There are many parks in the area, with decent playgrounds for children. The bigger parks are great for nature walks. There is quite a bit to see."
  • Fatima S.
"there’s no dog park. there’s a few neighborhood cats that like to stray and you often hear the neighborhood dogs barking. it’s no bother really since everyone minds their business. just something to be mindful of."
  • Marcus H.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 20 years, and it's changed over the last 7 years. The neighborhood has some really good people and also a few bad apples. But, overall the people that live here, do make an effort to look out for one another. "
  • White K.
"We live in a great neighborhood and we have some of the best neighbors. For the most part we’ve had no big issues. To me good neighbors can turn the worst neighborhood into a great place to live"
  • Colleen H.
"there are a lot of sidewalks to go for a walk on. People keep their animals restrained well. feel safe while walking my dog around "
  • Rjones256
"It's pretty quiet and people keep to themselves. It's close to schools and restaurants and gas stations."
  • Darbyjasmaine357
"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over five years it’s had its ups and downs but on the positive side I have gotten to meet some incredible ppl "
  • Gypsychild0648
"Quiet neighborhood, kids are safe playing in the neighborhood. There is an elementary school near by."
  • Linda
"I don’t know I don’t have pets I hate hearing dogs bark all day and night and they need to take care of them "
  • Rjones256
"My neighbors usually keep to themselves and it is usually quiet because of the seniors in the neighborhood."
  • Dorian J.
"Nothing goes on that’s very spectacular in this community the city is trying to make things better but nothing much has changed "
  • Tlscda
"You can walk your dog in this Neighborhood and everyone is friendly / sidewalks are nice and the houses are kepted up and clean "
  • Mallory L.
"People speed down the road so you have to pay attention and keep them the on a chain or close by so they don’t get hit "
  • Darbyjasmaine357
"Nothing major just nobody bothers me nor my kids and we can go to bed safely their is also a school located close so police patrol the area a lot "
  • Rodrickcpierce
"Nothing. I’m truly not a fan of the city. It’s absolutely depressing, especially in the winter. No true activities unless you make them. To be honest I would work in Columbus and commute to save money."
  • Rodrickcpierce
"You will love it it’s very dog friendly here. The different varieties of dogs and owners makes for a nice dog community. The parks are great places for dogs and are close to the neighborhood."
  • Alaina H.
"Springfield has it’s flaws but I believe it’s getting better. There’s quit a bit of construction. Overall I enjoy living here."
  • Dorianbjones
"This neighborhood is very quiet most people know one another depending on part of town there may be heavy drug activity "
  • Sherry B.
"Crime and drugs make Springfield an unsafe city to live in. Houses and apartments are run down. There are no family oriented places to go to or enjoy. Most people go to Columbus to enjoy a nice family outing."
  • Sherry B.
"Springfield is not safe for families with small children. Drug addicts make up most of the population. The homicide rate is the highest in this part of the state. Do not move here. Safety is an issue that must be looked at before moving here."
  • Leslie W. C. B. .
"The majority of homeowners in my neighborhood have dogs and walk them regularly and they respect others by picking up after their dogs as well. "
  • Luellawalker1964

  • Lakeshia W.
"We really don’t have a lot community events. And I will be leaving this neighborhood as soon as I get a chance. Springfield is not a good place to live or raise kids. Very violent area with a lot of shootings. "
  • Dallas J.
"alot of people , guns.,.not very safe and alot of crime really . sad to say . loud people , music , and drinking / drugs "
  • Mcmurrayspublichouse
