"Nearby park walking trail leads to larger park with dog parks for larger and smaller dogs. Walk is less than 1/4 mile to walking trail from the surrounding neighborhoods "
  • Rebecca Boudreaux
"There are sidewalks throughout most of the neighborhood. Also JC Holloway park is one street away. The walking trail connects to a larger park with trails and a dog park. The fenced dog park is separated in two sides for larger and smaller breeds to play safely."
  • Courtney Munoz
"None need more kid friendly places so don’t have to travel to far. Needs more activities not far away as well"
  • Nancy.rodriguez1990

  • Trulia User
"Amazing nice quiet neighborhood I enjoy the quiet part of it. Doesn’t flood where we are which is great also"
  • Nancy.rodriguez1990
"I like the sidewalk and people keeping dogs on leaches! Dogs are friendly. However dags bark and people complain "
  • Ruth G.
"For the most part the area is a decent place to walk your dogs. The only problem I see is that about 50% of the dog owners do not pick up poop from their dogs. there is a great alternative about 3 mi away is a dog park that is well groomed has an area for both large dogs and small dogs. I rather take my dogs there on the weekend so they have plenty of area to play and run."
  • Kelly_cristinaferreira
"The people is nice , and friendly. The area is very nice the kids play outside the school is amazing "
  • Gloria F.

  • Unisonbarrels
"Going to work has minimal with light traffic. It only takes 8. minutes to arrive at work. Commuting home is about the same. "
  • Ashley C.
"Terrible people live here. They make our streets very dangerous by racing up and down neighborhood streets, and there have been many reports of guns going off."
  • Jerria L.
"The location is quiet and tranquil I’m new here just a month but I’m really enjoying living here. Love the view of Galveston bay "
  • Dacloud87

  • Liddy0218
"About 15 minute drive to get to most shopping areas around the neighborhood. Close to i10 and also 146. "
  • Maria O.
"Yard sale at tx Avenue and movie night and ice skating ring and markets farm and all the events we have at Texas avenue "
  • Michelle T.
"People mostly keep to themselves around my current area. It is a predominantly hispanic community now and a lot of people are selling. We are moving as well as the crime and traffic has skyrocketed the last year. It takes almost 30 mins to simply get across town now when it used to only take about 10. "
  • Lanelle S.
"GARTH RD IS THE WOOOORRRSSSTTTT!! Sometimes it takes a good 5-10 minutes just to get across the road unless you go down to a stoplight"
  • Honkerbear

  • Ggonzalez9616
"There’s a lot of great parks in the area with plenty to do for kids. This town is big enough to always meet new friends but not too big where everything is over crowded and you can still see a familiar face every now and then. "
  • Amandaphillips1977
