Too often, the media focuses on deficit views of the school, yet the assets offered by this school are often ignored.Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School (9-12)

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a proud teacher at George Buck. Our teachers care for their students on an extremely deep level. Teachers connect with parents on a personal level so they can invest in each child more meaningfully. The administrative team is quick to support staff and they also have very well developed relationships with the students. Our parent liaison works tirelessly to connect with parents and families. Our ESL and SPED teachers go above and beyond to accommodate our students who need extra support. The custodians are personable and thorough - keeping our grounds nice and tidy. Even as changes occur in the district, we have stuck together as a George Buck family and overcome obstacles daily.Other Review9y ago3 Reviews - George Washington Community High School (9-12)

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has several bright points and also many challenges. I think the school does a really good job with providing a quality place to learn; many awesome teachers, some not as great, that's the way it would go at any school. The principal cares about the students and, in my experience, so do the teachers. Maybe it's not a 5/5, but it's also not a 1, so I want to balance it out.Other Review2y ago7 Reviews - Rousseau McClellan School 91

"A lot of rentals in this area now because everyone wants to get away from the east side. This street stays pretty quiet, but people drive way to fast and have no respect"
3Flag - chrisazp

"I lived on this street in the 1990s and 2000s and raised my family there. What began as an idyllic, sociable neighborhood where families looked out for one another declined over the next two decades into an area where shootings, car bombs, break-ins and gang activity made it a place you were afraid to come home to or leave. My family wouldn't even come visit me. This is no place for children, and I can't honestly recommend it for anyone. "
