"I have lived here for 5 years and folks are friendly and look out for each other.Even when a lot of car accidents happen around here. Its really nice though "
  • Trulia User
"I don't know of any community events that take place here and I've been here 18 years. Occasionally there is a traveling carnival if you trust that sort of thing. "
  • Trulia User
"I have lived adjacency to mission hills for years. It has always been kept very clean. The public areas are looked after. They have also worked on adding restaurants and stores. Overall they have kept the area looking good and maintained for the public to enjoy. "
  • Trulia User
"Freeway access and public transit are easily accessible. I work nearby so I only drive 10 minutes to and from work. "
  • Amy L.
"A Lot of irresponsible drivers, a lot of accidents, a lot of homeless, streets are not safe at night, many hit and runs, and a lot of noisy neighbors playing loud music at night"
  • Seahell
"streets are small, rarely any speedbumps and everyone races up and down the street with loud cars. not many positive things to say about the neighborhood"
  • Breanna E.
"People don’t always have their animals on leashes and it becomes very dangerous. Some have dogs locked up all day long which causes them to bark a lot when you are walking by. "
  • James J.
"I like that schools are walking distance and freeways entrances are close. The neighborhood is calm."
  • James J.
"I lived here for three years and loved it everything so close plus neighbors are helpful and care for the community."
  • Janette J.
"for me is a really good area I like where I live and my neighbors are nice I see my neighbors walking with the dogs and kids playing in the yards "
  • CG
"My grandparents lived in this neighborhood since the late 50’s. And I’ve lived with them about a 1/4 of my life. The neighborhood has some older neighbors who look out for each other. Occasionally we’ll hear a loud party on the weekend. I still wouldn’t allow my child to walk alone or ride her bike alone...but I wouldn’t allow it in a great neighborhood either. Times just aren’t like they used to be. Thankfully several years back they added speed bumps on our street and that reduced the amount of lowriding cars and speeders coming through here. Locally there’s an elementary school that several neighbors take advantage of and walk its perimeter in the evenings. "
  • Leticia G.
"Dog owners would like the peacefulness but they wouldn't like the other dogs non stop barking all night. Other than that it is a good and walkable area for dogs and even horses. It is a very quiet neighborhood."
  • Girl Y. L.
"Park nearby. Lots of off-leash dogs, but it’s gotten better........................… Also lots of dogs barking all day"
  • Silvia R.
"I am leaving for 14 year I get used to .and school is close and freeway entrance too. I will miss this place alot "
  • Ramosnathalie176
"I have lived in this area for all my life and I love it. There are many parks that surround the area and many stores too. It really feels like a community. I know my neighbors will have my back."
