3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely think that this is the most terrible school that a child can be enrolled in! Every week there is at LEAST 3 fights. My child isn't hardly learning anything and it really disappoints me that the principal doesn't do anything about it. The staff is not dedicated at all. They curse at the students and don't encourage them to do good. My child feels uncomfortable going to school because her connections teacher is a man and he tells her inappropriate things that make her feel that way. The boys at the school just disgust me because when I went there to see what was going on, one of them asked me "can i f***" I mean these parents can't control their children. This is school is ghetto.Parent Review11y ago - The School Of Liberal Studies At Savannah High

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Daughter is doing a great job at Shuman. She's only in the kindergarten, but she's already being tested for the gifted. The teachers are hardworking and very nice. They do their best to encourage their students. All of the staff is friendly. They will do their best to keep kids in good uplifting spirits. I was a little unsure of what to expect this year, but my daughter is doing great and the principal is determined about getting the kids reading so that they can pass their crct and writing test I just love Shuman ElemParent Review7y ago - Henderson E Formey Jr Early Learning Center

"I love Baldwin Park because it has a lot of charm, is quiet for a city neighborhood and is unique in character with lots of easily accessible offerings to enjoy within a short walk from our home- bike lanes, restaurants, local stores, salons, parks, schools. My commute to work is quick, parking is easy and convenience is abundant. "

"It’s mostly an area for younger couples and college students. There are few families in the areas surrounding where my boyfriend and I live but not many. "

"people drive too quickly and treat the smaller roads like their personal high speed thoroughfare. instructing kids to be more careful due to these, and other issues related to dense car / pedestrian interactions. "

"Close to the new wholefoods and the mall as well. Close to downtown and SCAD as well as good restaurants like Nairobias, the green truck and the kebab shop. I don't have small children but there are lots of families with kids in the Area. Have a walk down to Baldwin Park, it is a beautiful place to relax."
