Description

Set on an acre of land in Corrales is a charming adobe house with brick floors and small enclosed patio. Nice places for walks and beautiful views of cottonwoods and the mountains. Is very close to shopping and dining. The house is 1 bedroom and 1 bath. The kitchen includes gas range, dishwasher and new refrigerator. It also has beautiful custom tile countertop. There is a new washer and dryer. Has forced air and heating. Included is a carport and small storage shed. I live on property next to this one so if anything goes wrong am available to take care of it. If I am not home I am very good an answering my phone and will get things taken care of. I have other rentals on property next to this one and have tenants that have rented from me for years. One couple who moved from the house for rent to another larger one I have has been here for 24 years, another has rented from me for 17 years and another 8 years. They will gladly talk to you about any questions you might have about living here or about me as a landlord.

Tenant is responsible for gas and electric. I pay for trash. Water is well water, so it is hard water which means no bleach in wash and it is safe for drinking but does not taste very good. Suggest you buy drinking water.
I ask for month to month lease but want someone long term. Reason for month to month is if you are unhappy or I am unhappy, I'd rather it end peacefully. I will sing year lease if you want one.
To move in I ask first months rent and deposit
Pets are fine as long as cats don't spray in house and you have no more than two. Dogs must be house trained and not destructive such as digging chewing or scratching up doors wall etc. You must know, if you want animals there are coyotes running around so you must keep close eye on your pets.

"4th of July Parade with all the tractors is great. There are many delicious local restaurants. It’s its own bedroom community but within 30 minutes from everything in Albuquerque. "

"Plenty of walking space, just beware of coyotes on a possible early morning prowl, although they aren’t aggressive you never know, especially if you’re a small dog owner. "

"Watch out for falling Cottonwood limbs, as it happens most frequently and could be dangerous for children or animals. Don’t tie a swing or tire to the old cottonwoods or build a tree house in one as they are very unsteady and limbs breaks instantaneously."

"Corrales has a real sense of community! Very animal friendly and wonderful neighbors that look out for each other. 3--4 outstanding restaurants but not a place for night life. Cute boutique-type shopping opportunities; lots of art galleries. We love it here!"

"The Village of Corrales is rural in character, houses required to have an acre to build a house. Most houses are southwest in character. Many people own horses, pygmy goats, llamas, chickens, etc., even hear peacocks and they are allowed too. Lots of soft trails that wind throughout the village and can go along the Rio Grande on the Bosque by horse, bicycle, or by foot the trail goes through Albuquerque too. Yet it is so peaceful. No sirens and car noise. Car fumes from large cities not a problem here. It is a unique area that has lots of southwestern style houses and restaurants."

"we moved to corrales earlier this year after exploring different areas of NM. Corrales has a bit of everything, 100 plus yr-old adobes, million dollar estates, comfortable northern NM type arch most all with lots of property. lots of interesting folks- artists, musicians, writers -i work in the arts so know the cast of characters! the "greenbelt" means you are on water- you have one or 2 wells- so very different than most areas of NM. lots of trees and old orchards. i prefer this area to santa fe -you have everything a charming village offers and 10 minutes from costco, sprouts, etc. 12 miles from downtown albuq-and on or near the rio grande."
