4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe administration has no idea how to handle difficulties kids at this age have. They put a label that is acceptable and sweep it under the rug pretending everything is wonderful. They are not smart about what really goes on in the school. Skip right over the administration and go directly to the superintendent.Parent Review5y ago - Sparta High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Sparta BOE currently spends all its time and financial resources on bogus culture war initiatives such as book banning. The schools are over crowded, resources are being removed, nurses and teachers are being cut or resigning and our children are paying the price. Their ineptitude ended up in a 5.8% tax increase that they had to get county approval for.Parent Review8mo ago - Helen Morgan Elementary School

"I take a bus from West Orange to NYC. During rush hour, it takes about an hour. Busses run regularly, hourly in off-peak times. Train service is not far, but it’s easier for me to park where the bus leaves from. The town does have shuttles to the train station."
