A beloved house in need of a full restoration and renovation to bring back the bloom in her cheeks. Circa 1926, this classic was built for a well known local family and it remained in their hands for 77 years so you would be only the third owner. Featuring some elements from the Prairie style, the deep front veranda measures 31' adding an open air gathering room. Designed as a home for entertaining, the public rooms are generous and the traditional floor plan is remarkably open given the era. The original woodwork was beautiful and much of it is still in the house waiting to be refinished. From the veranda you enter the huge living dining with a coffered ceiling and large windows. A closed fireplace on the west wall could be reopened and converted to gas.
