3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to Franklin Elementary and now is going to the Middle School. The school is amazing! The town is pretty small so we know everyone. Everyone in the neighborhood loves both the middle and elementary school. Most parents commute to DC or Baltimore or live in the area as remote workers. It's becoming an affluent area as there is no crime and the school is well funded by property taxes.I don't have a view on the special education but there is a lot of family engagement. The school welcomes parents regularly and includes us in the process.Parent Review5mo ago - Franklin High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal and teachers are pretty good. We had our daughter graduated from GT class in 2014 and it was a such a great school. She loved it. Since then the things have been going down. The GT program is closed. Many incidents of bullying. We had to move and pull our son out of this school. The problem is in changing of the area population and BCPS policy changes, which is hard to handle for school staff, kids and parents.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 9 Bond Ave.

"I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 2 years, it's scenic, quiet, and full of nature. Yes the train runs nearby, but it's quiet-ish and after a week, you barely notice it. Deer and fox are frequent visitors to my yard, as well as many native and migrational bird species. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful, we couldn't ask for a better group, pet sitting, Bar BQs, fire pit fun, you name it."
