If there was less than Zero for a score that would be my choice for this horrible school. It's administrative staff has a more incline to lgbtq and bullies. Special education is at the bottom of the totem pole it seems that bullying that assist with the students whether in class or in a unit is not important. If these children are being victims of bullies whether in passing. cafeteria, PE or in the classroom, they don't get addressed as same bullying continues. The staff that assists the students are stretched out meaning if a staff member has to leave the specialized unit for any reason, a substitute who is not capable of doing anything or trained if something happens in the unit and doesn't care or looks the other way. The victim either for acting out verbally or defending one self will get punished. The bully continues in the school and the victim is cornered to either act out, defend one self or give in and take on peer students. This is hopeless which I think the state should get involved and fire all staff and bring in majority male African American administration to make drastic changes on staff and repercussions on what bullys do and apply due punishment.

This disregard for professional etiquette diminishes the respect and trust that are essential for a positive educational environment.There is a troubling tendency for both teachers and administrators to provide inconsistent information. For instance, a teacher may grant one student permission for a specific activity while denying another under similar circumstances. This inconsistency not only undermines student trust but also creates confusion and frustration.The administrative team appears to struggle with organization and communication. Frequent miscommunication and unclear policies contribute to an environment where students feel unsupported and undervalued. This lack of clarity can lead to increased anxiety and disengagement among students.The absence of effective social-emotional support mechanisms exacerbates the challenges faced by students. Rather than feeling encouraged and understood, many students report feelings of dread associated with school, stemming from administrative pressures, excessive workloads, and a pervasive sense of inadequacy.A lack of encouragement and acknowledgment from administration can lead to diminished enthusiasm for learning. When students feel that their efforts are unrecognized, their motivation to engage in academic activities wanes.The challenges at Marshall High School are deeply intertwined with the administrative approach and its impact on student well-being. Addressing these issues through respect, accountability, and emotional support is essential for creating a more positive and motivating educational experience. Reforming the current environment will better enable students to thrive academically and personally.

My daughter attended Wanke for Pre-K last year. Her teachers were amazing and set incredibly high standards for her next set of teachers. I would especially like to emphasize the wonderful staff at the front desk. I loved how they made us feel like family and always greeted us with warmth and kindness. It truly makes a difference when you are welcomed in such a way.
