My daughter's have attended this school for 4 years, we absolutely are in love with the staff and the schools academics. Mrs Franchette is the priciple and is the best one ive ever met. Very friendly and professional and fun for the kids. Really genuinely love people. My children have always meet academic excellence and when they did struggle they have programs and teachers to specialize in that area to help them.

No training whatsoever with kids who have autism this school called social services on us for our 3 year old who is diagnosed level 3 autism and told them she has behavioral issues and she’s always dirty she’s a child a child with sensory issues a child who won’t keep shoes on a child yall physically called on for one when we moved here from Cleveland we handled documentation after documentation and then when they reported me and my wife they didn’t even give our right names yall are a school and have the birth certificate and couldn’t even get my name right yall seen my kid once a week for a hr twice so please explain how u kno my child and to tell social services a special needs child has behavior issues rude awakening she’s on the spectrum that comes with it but to totally degrade me as a parent lucky I had dr visit paper trails on top of the dss worker saying it was this school and not the first time report have been targeting parents with kids with needs tells me it was the school and they didn’t even understand because nothing they said was true if my child was not taking care of why did she go to the dr for these very reason we have our paper trail and I physically did not let my child receive services thru this school we are back in a autism school with people who understand her needs provide intensive therapy not just seeing my kid a hr a day …. Yall are no help get your staff trained and what’s even crazier is I work for the board of disability in Cleveland Ohio moved my family down just to have to move back because yall couldn’t meet my child’s needs yall are so under trained and not there to understand a kid and their individual issue but quick to call and blame a parent I do not recommend this school

As a sophomore who has attended this school for the past 2 years, do not send you're children here unless they want to be there. I have personally been through life threatening situations and am still dealing with one of these, the administration brushes off any actual concerns. One of the many situations I previously mentioned was when another student threatened to r@pe me. A guidance consular told me it was my fault because I had rejected the student.As far as academics I am in honors math but cannot perform past an middle school math level, it's extremely frustrating. Some teachers even quit in the middle of the year for example my Spanish teacher whom we had for maybe a little less than a quarter just left and hadn't came back, nobody is allowed to tell us where he is but we are assigned work daily that is not what he was teaching us but new lessons which nobody takes the time to teach us.Bullying is very common and accepted sometimes administration will even target or show favoritism to certain students.We have a very strict dress code that doesn't even make sense as all other schools in our district are allowed to wear pink,white,black,blue,navy blue and sometimes red collared shirts plus jeans. The highschool only allows us to wear white,black and navy blue, me and one of my friends both got in trouble one day for wearing a blue shirt that was maybe two shade to light for administration (mind you my shirt was a school sponsored shirt from a coach). I have also gotten in trouble for wearing a white skirt beacuse we cannot wear white as a bottom color.Nobody here is ever on the same page.Materials are not given to students.They don't give us freedom (walking around during breaks, walking during lunch,no outside time and no phones)I have had horrible teachers and a few awesome teachers. Some teacher's say slurs and cuss while others actually care about what you're learning.Most of the time the good caring awesome teachers get fired because the school doesn't have enough funding to support them and would rather pay subs who are 10x worse than a bad teacher.I have been bullied,harassed,stalked, threatened, hurt and stolen from in this school. They do not care about you are you're students constitutional rights. They will slience you're student and kick you as a parent out of the school or dismiss you by saying there is nothing they can do.If you're child does not want to go to this school consider other options, believe them.
