About this House

Are you looking for a big, country house with acreage and TWO garages, that is also minutes from everything you need? This is it! This beautiful house has loads of original charm and character but has had some good updates too! The property is almost 2 full acres and has an oversized driveway (including a concrete pad for RV's or trailers) to accompany the TWO oversized 2-car garages so you'll have plenty of parking for family and guests. You'll immediately notice the roomy front porch, that is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a porch swing. Inside is a huge entry with hardwood flooring that continues through several areas of the house. To the left of the entry is the light and bright living room that has a WBFP. The living room flows into an office that has built in bookshelves and windows that overlook the back yard. To the right of the entry is the dining room, which is open to the huge kitchen. The dining room has a beautiful built in corner cabinet and hardwood flooring. The kitchen is bright and airy with windows from every direction and has TONS of cabinet and cupboard space! Off the kitchen is a bright, beautiful room that could be a 2nd office, a playroom, or a sunroom, and also has a back door that leads to the back porch. There is a convenient half bath off the kitchen for guests as well. Upstairs you'll find three large bedrooms that all have hardwood flooring and ample closet space! In the basement, you'll find a large rec room area, an unfinished area for storage and laundry, and a finished room with a door and closet that could be a great 4th bedroom (no egress). In the back of the house is a brick patio, a firepit, and the private wooded lot that goes to the other side of the creek. Updates: roof (house only, not garages) - 2021, windows updated within the past 15 years. The house needs a little TLC on the outside, so bring your landscaping ideas! Agents - please see agent remarks for more info.

"I've lived in these apartments for 3 years. Recently they switched property management. The new company doesn't care about maintenance. Our furnace has been broken for over a month. Don't move here unless you want to freeze. "

"Farms of Heatherwoode community within Springboro is a wonderful area for families, new couples and retirees. The neighborhood sidewalks are great for exercise. The community pool and clubhouse are a nice way to meet new neighbors and it's a safe place to raise a family or retire in a quiet area of Springboro (great location in between Dayton and Cincinnati if one spouse works in 1 city and the other spouse in the other). The neighbors are laid back and friendly. Block parties are common. There is an annual garage sale and canned food drive. Kids ride bikes and play. The schools are rated excellent and community support for the schools and sports is fantastic. We lived in this neighborhood for 10 years and LOVED it!!! It's close to schools, golf, shopping and restaurants. There is also easy access to I-75 and I-675. Only 20 minutes to WPAFB."
