10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school went downhill. The majority of the teachers don't have any patience at all! The majority of the teachers want robot students, they are constantly telling the children to shut up! Teachers tend to generalize always a good student with the rest of the misbehaved challenged children. The principal is barely at the school, I barely see her walking up and down in the campus. There is no order or good management skills to remove the bad teachers. Teachers shouldn't treat children bad because of their behavior. All of the staff members a rude and condescending in this school with no manners what so ever. Definitely the school board needs to get involved in this school and do a major clean of attitude of the personnel here. Tests scores are enforced so much because the principal is looking for a raise in her paycheck! The children are placed in a lot of pressure constantly. Don't enroll your child here, I don't recommend it.Parent Review4mo ago - Tequesta Trace Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCypress Bay High School, once revered for its academic excellence and inclusive environment, now finds itself embroiled in controversy. Recent events have brought to light allegations of staff permitting Zionist influence to manipulate and indoctrinate students, while those advocating for Palestine are unfairly punished. Moreover, accusations of discrimination against students standing against colonialism have sparked widespread concern. The narrative unfolding within Cypress Bay High School is deeply troubling. Reports suggest that certain staff members have allowed their personal biases to permeate the educational environment, creating an atmosphere where political discourse is stifled rather than encouraged. By allegedly favoring Zionist perspectives while silencing voices advocating for Palestine, the school risks compromising its commitment to fostering critical thinking and diversity of thought. Furthermore, the apparent discrimination against students opposing colonialism raises serious questions about the school's commitment to equity and inclusion. Education should empower students to challenge oppressive systems and engage in meaningful dialogue about social justice issues. However, if Cypress Bay High School is indeed penalizing students for their principled stance against colonialism, it not only fails to uphold its educational mandate but also perpetuates systems of oppression. The implications of these allegations extend beyond the confines of Cypress Bay High School. They speak to broader concerns about the politicization of education and the erosion of academic integrity. Schools should serve as bastions of free thought and intellectual curiosity, where students feel safe to explore diverse perspectives without fear of retribution. In conclusion, the situation at Cypress Bay High School underscores the need for greater transparency, accountability, and commitment to fostering a truly inclusive learning environment. Addressing these allegations head-on and reaffirming the school's dedication to academic freedom and social justice is essential to restoring trust and ensuring that all students feel valued and respected. Anything less would be a disservice to the principles of education and democracy.Other Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 881 Stanton Dr.
