Room Description

Beautiful sunlit room (10 x 12.5 ft) that opens to a patio, in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom duplex apartment in North Berkeley. We're looking for someone clean, responsible, quiet and friendly. You would be sharing the apartment with a woman in her early 30s, who is friendly and social and works as an environmental researcher at Cal.

The apartment is on the first floor of a house in an unbeatable location, just off Solano Ave on the Berkeley/Albany border. A 1 minute walk to the supermarket, countless shops and restaurants. It's a three minute walk to a direct bus to downtown Berkeley (#18 - takes 15 mins) and the transbay commuter bus to downtown San Francisco (G line - takes 40 mins in rush hour), and the El Cerrito BART is a 20 minute walk away. Plenty of on-street parking for those with a car, and the laundromat is a block away.

The apartment is fully furnished, with a futon and desk in the room if needed.

The room is available now, but move in/out dates are flexible for the right fit.

LGBTQ friendly. Utilities are an extra $75 per month including high-speed gigabit internet (but no cable tv).
Sorry but no pets.

Please tell us a bit about yourself if interested, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

We are looking for someone who will rent for at least 6 months.
No hidden lease fees or terms.

"I grew up on Oakvale Ave & Domingo, and even as a kid I felt that Claremont was the best neighborhood ever: so many families, with genuine community spirit, and all kinds of beautiful, secret places to explore (safely).
