There is a new Principal this year so maybe in the long run things will turn around but the culture that is already instilled here is horrible especially for a child with learning differences. Communication is available but disappears once a problem arises. Besides my child not actually being taught (I've been told several times that if he doesn't understand the work he should Google it, visit sites and teach himself or pay for a tutor.) My child's confidence and self esteem has been destroyed due to several teachers that not only don't follow the 504 plan set in place but don't "believe" in learning differences like ADD. It has been a full time job for me just to keep my son afloat here. Unfortunately due to a divorce agreement I was unable to pull him from this school, I do not wish this school on ANY child.Parent Review5y ago - Piper High School

The level of empathy or understanding the level of his disability is zero. Total lack of regard for parents feelings are non existent. "Some people don't walk their dogs on a leash or they let their dogs roam the neighborhood. While I was walking my dog once, a dog that wasn't being walked on a leash attacked my dog. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. And no, neither was any type of bully breed dog (e.g. pitbull terriers, staffordshire terriers, bulldog, etc)."

"Nothing unique concerning Lauderhill. Many live here being able to not afford living someplace else. I live here currently but will be moving to a better community at the end of the month. Can’t say very positive things about a community where people openly use and deal drugs. "

"It’s a “temporary” community at best to live in. The area is rampant with drugs and crime and people are generally not clean in their surroundings. After living in the community for a year, I will be looking for a better community ASAP. "

"I haven’t had any issues with anyone since I’ve been living in this neighborhood. Schools are closed for Elementary and there is a middle high school close. Public transportation is close. Shopping malls are close county parks also."

"I live in this area since 10/18. 55 and up community. Very quiet building. Very central , close enough to the beach and shopping. I am often out after dark. Don’t feel intimidated. I could live here for years to come."
