Welcome home to this traditional brick architecture complete with a south facing colonnaded front porch on a tree lined cul-de-sac. Beautiful hardwood floors, original historic gumwood trimmed windows, and two sets of triple windows embellish the eastern facing main living space full of natural light. A large wood door frames the entrance to the well maintained kitchen ready for your personalized touches. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom complete the main level. On the lower level, a wood burning stove and custom wood bar anchor the entertainment spaces. The 3/4 bathroom also houses the laundry facilities. Step outside to the private, fenced, low maintenance zero-scaped garden and oversized sandstone patio. A long extended, new driveway to the one car garage provides ample off-street parking. Located within walking distance to Tracks, 9th and 9th dining and retail, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Nearby are Liberty Park and the University of Utah campus.

"This neighborhood is a great walking neighborhood. There are parks, restaurants, grocery stores , shops, veterinarian clinic, salons and even the “humpback roundabout’” that are within walking distance. It is close to downtown, but feels suburban with single family homes and only a few duplexes or small apartment buildings. "

"Walk to dog park, walk to neighborhood park, and community garden. Walk to banks, to subway, to trax system, to Rio Grande and Indochine. Walk to pioneer memorial theater, the university campus and their post office. Walk to Kingsbury Hall and to the U of U football stadium. Premier location! "

"We need more young families to move into the neighborhood. Many nice, caring neighbors, just not enough children."

"Easy place to live with no construction, schools are good and the city is the perfect distance for access without the noise. Gets crowded during university football games. Eclectic, well maintained and comfortable, it’s on the pricey side but it’s worth it and the commute is always opposite of traffic, which makes it a breeze. Lots are generally small but it’s great for a family. Located on a hill above the valley which offers some good views of the city but within 6 minutes of the canyons. Dog parks are nice and there are plenty of trails that are dog friendly, but avoid watershed areas higher up, because the fines are big. "

"It’s the lack of construction and the unique housing and terrain that makes this place pleasant. Not to mention the, concerts at Red Butte garden, the many University activities: sports events concerts, and motorcycle events at the stadium and super easy access to the mountain range and very little traffic jambs. "

"Great walk ability and friendly neighborhood. Lots of grassy area for dogs to be able to stop and take a rest."

  • Maeve V.
"It’s a great neighborhood for dogs because there’s a lot of other dogs around. A park is near by and there are plenty of trees for potty breaks. Also everyone looks out for each other’s dogs. If my neighbor is working a late shift I take her dogs out potty for her. "
