Lovely home on Curtis Pond in sought after Maple Corner, Calais, Vermont. Just 10 miles north of Montpelier our furnished 2 bedroom, one bath home is available for winter rental. The open floor plan, 1500 square foot one story house has hardwood floors and many unique features including: large kitchen with pantry, updated appliances, a custom stone and tile shower, mudroom with custom shelving, lots of artwork and metal sculpture, and a dream setting next to the Curtis Pond waterfall.
Watch out the windows or join local skaters on our community-maintained skating rinks or cross-county skiing on the myriad of trails.
Our home is heated by choice of a mini-split heat pump, a propane fireplace and/or a pellet stove. The light filled living room has a large, flat screened TV. Also, a flat screen TV in the master bedroom. The smaller second bedroom has a pull-down Murphy bed and a desk so can also be used as an office. Strong internet with Wifi.
A two-minute walk gets you to the Maple Corner Community Store for supplies, the local post office and the Whammy Bar which is a great place to meet new friends, listen to live music or have a meal. The Maple Corner Community Center hosts classic movie screenings, yoga classes, senior exercise classes, and occasional gourmet meals and celebrations. Equidistant from Stowe, Sugarbush and Burke Mountain ski areas.
This is a magical place to live. $2,300/month plus utilities. No pets. Non-smoking. Available early to mid-fall to early to mid-April.

Rental term is 5-6 months from fall to spring. Renter is responsible for utilities which include electric, propane, internet/tv, trash pickup and plowing. All utilities are paid monthly except for plowing which is billed at the end of the rental term.
Security deposit, cleaning fee and first month's rent due at signing of the lease.
No smoking.
Covered parking for one car. Second care is parked outside.
