"Great neighborhood with endless opportunities and possibilities for families to thrive and enjoy each other in this beautiful community."
  • Paynerayven88
"i’ve lived here most of my life and it’s decent. some places are a little bit or dangerous than others. some neighborhoods are very nice and well kept and others aren’t so nice and aren’t kept up very much. toccoa is small enough to where most people just drive or walk to places but i definitely don’t recommend walking at night "
  • Cliffordearls
"Toccoa is a really nice town we have to colleges and one is a Christian college we have gym's restaurant's shopping Park's with water falls"
  • Sweetcina02
"It's the meth capital of North GA. If you aren't already here save yourself the trouble. I was once so excited. I wish I had done more research before moving. "
  • Trulia User
"I'm retired, so I don't commute. If I did commute to say Atlanta, it would be a direct route. The only problem would be running into traffic, once you reach Gwinnett county."
  • Tmccampbell
"It’s wonderful for dogs lots of wild life, and plenty of dog owners in the neighborhood. Loads of walking trails and space for your dog "
  • Gizem B. A.
"I lived here for three years just living. very quite city and need more public space playground and especially sidewalks iwantto walk to market it is not far to my home but sidewalks are insufficient"
  • Melissa B.
"I live outside the town of Toccoa. It is a small town with limited shopping options however there are larger cities about an hour away. "
  • Laura K. Payne
"This is a wonderful neighborhood for dog owners—tons of beautiful roads and sidewalks to walk them on, dog parks, hundreds of miles of trails, and it’s just a generally dog-friendly town. My bank even gives my furbaby a bone when we go through the drive-thru! "
  • Laura
"Toccoa is a wonderful small town (though growing rapidly!). It’s the perfect place to raise a family. Excellent schools, great churches, low taxes, low crime, you can still buy a nice home w/land for $120,000, everyone is community-oriented and cares. There isn’t a lot for teens & young adults to do, but with Atlanta, Athens & Anderson an hour away, you’re not missing much. Toccoa is a beautiful little town!"
  • Michelle C. M.
"folks always walking their dogs they are all up-to-date on shots and friendliest dogs in neighborhood"
  • Melissa B.
"Retirement community. Not a lot to do. Close to lake. Lots of churches. Great scenery. Close to Seneca SC"
  • Juicy2250
"Toccoa is a small town. Everyone knows everyone but it’s nice and safe. Cute little country town! Not many places to shop or eat. Most people go to Gainesville, Anderson, or Seneca for entertainment. Great place to raise children and sports are really important here (ie high school football/basketball)"
  • Trulia User
"Great community in which to raise your children or enjoy a quiet retirement. Mature neighborhood on a dead end street. Minimal traffic, great neighbors, close to the lake and boat ramps."
