"in one year plus living here the crime has gone down a lot ,this block cares about each other and there are not many homes vacant, people walk down the street families have moved in, if you got to know your neighbors talked to them etc, thats the bond needed to make a neighborhood a safe and better place, involvement with the area ,thats what ive done fixed up the place and eceryone done the same, .we are a tight family neighborhood,."

"At one time it was nice. Now you don't want to leave your house. You might be robbed in or out of your house. to many vacant abandond houses!"

  • Detroit 3.
"This area will work for certain lifestyle expectations. It used to be better but now there are mostly elderly who walk their dogs and sometimes they do roam around when they don't get walked. A few of the homes are burned out, not as many as inner city Detroit. If you have the money to invest and the time to wait this is still a decent area. It's close to shopping areas. Precautions should be taken to secure your property but the neighborhood hasn't reached the level of unworkable or unlivable. In other words, it isn't the best, but I've seen worse."
