My math teacher used racists and prejudice words towards me while class was in session. He threatened me with a referral, which I refused to sign. So he gave me another. I waited for class to end, which I assume he eventually realized. When he ran out of the classroom to report me to the same office faculty I was hoping would support me. Instead I was berated and put into on campus suspension for a week.

this school has brought me many memories when i came to this school toward my end of freshman year and playing football for savanna was very fun and being a senior here at savanna high school.

The teachers and staff, down to the bus drivers, are bullies. The bus driver even physically grabbed my son and yanked him into a seat. He also was turning a corner intentionally way too fast and opened up the bus door my child was sitting across from while the bus was still in motion. Staff does not adhere to custody and court documents and release information to individuals whom are no relation to students. They are very high school, mean girl "cliquey" and very much about gossip, and drama versus the real issues involving their students while in their care. Racism at this school is another huge problem. Emotionally and mentally, my child has never been so damaged as he is (for now) attending Dysinger Elementary and my daughter who went years prior to my son just recently opened up about her challenges and turmoils from her previous years there. Do not subject your children to this school and do not let their popular mean girl mom club of reviews fool you. Especially if your child isn't prom king /queen kind of kid and/or is from out of state or doesn't quite fit in with the crowd. He/She will feel at his/her worst at this school.
