"There are no events to bring community together. The park nearby is t safe to be at due to gang violence. Aqua still hasnโ€™t fixed the lead issue in the plumbing. "

"45 minutes on, Metra ends at University Park . Quite community , railway security .Ample parking, well lite "
  • Dianaenjolianderson
"There is access to public transportation. Bus stops on every block as well as the Metra just 5 mins away. "
  • Diane D.
"I lived in this area for 5+ years and itโ€™s has its pros but mostly cons. The neighborhood has closed a lot of its stores leaving residents to travel at least 15+ minutes to get to a decent grocery store. The community pool shut down 2 years ago. The park needs work. Money is being taken out instead of invested in the community but no one is saying anything. "
  • Teekee123
"University Park is a family oriented area. In desperate need of a local grocery store. Pretty safe. Isolated incidents like any other neighborhood. "
  • Ariana H. J.
"Itโ€™s a safe area to live in. Schools are nice. Quite and clean environments. A lot of wild life such as deer, raccoons, etc."
