4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had a great experience at Jason Lee Elementary so far. Our child is doing well and enjoys being a part of the school family. Teachers and staff are genuinely interested in our child’s education and go out of their way to get to know them and offer supports if needed. As parents we feel that the school encourages and welcomes parent involvement. They have a special program to get Dad’s/Grandpa’s/Uncles/Other male figures involved with the kids and classrooms and a very active and welcoming PTA. At the start of the 2018/2019 the school officially downsized to a K-5 school and we feel that this really helped narrow the focus of the school and allows them to have the space to better support grades K-5. I would encourage any parent considering Lee for their child to definitely give this school a chance. We were skeptical at first but have been pleasantly surprised by the wonderful school family that we have become a part of. Our child is happy here and so are we. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't know where this information is being pulled from but it is significantly out of date. The school's name is no longer Madison but McDaniel. It's a great school, great teachers and a significant number of AP classes offered. Also, this seems to rank based on test scores. The problem is that testing is no longer required, and many students opt out. And it's a dubious method of educational evaluation, regardless. "there are a lot of crying babies on this street so if you hate kids its not the place to live. also its unsafe for kids to ride bikes or play outside alone when i lived there my seven year old son was offered drugs by some guy walking down the street. and he almost got ran over by speeding cars"
