my granddaughter is a azbergers child and has a lot of learning disabilities and has gotten the best support from her teachers and staff that i have ever seen she has brought her grades up 100% over the last year and i am so proud of her and her teachers do everything possible to make her learning experience a great one.

staff is caring and most have been there forever because they love it that much.

I normally try to give the benefit of the doubt, but my experience here has made that incredibly difficult. First and foremost, the temperature control in the building is absolutely awful. Some rooms feel like walk-in freezers, while others are stifling hot to the point of being unbearable. It’s genuinely hard to concentrate when you’re physically uncomfortable all day. This isn’t just a minor inconvenience—it’s a legitimate health concern, especially for students with underlying conditions or sensory sensitivities. It’s shocking that a school wouldn’t prioritize maintaining a stable learning environment.But the bigger issue is the clear lack of care from the teaching staff. Not every teacher is the same, but many show a stunning level of indifference. Whether it’s ignoring students visibly struggling or responding to questions with cold dismissiveness, there’s a major lack of empathy. It’s not about expecting teachers to be perfect, but basic human decency and support shouldn’t feel like too much to ask—especially from educators who work directly with young people every day.The administration isn’t much better. Principals and leadership staff often appear detached or unavailable. When serious concerns are brought forward—whether it’s about safety, bullying, or mental health—they are brushed off or met with robotic responses that feel more like PR statements than real solutions. Students are made to feel like burdens instead of being listened to and supported.Then there’s the bathroom and hall pass situation, which is completely over-the-top. The policies in place are so rigid that students often feel like they’re in a controlled facility rather than a school. Having to beg or wait just to use the restroom is beyond unreasonable. It creates a hostile environment where students are constantly stressed about things that should be simple.In short, this school has deeply misplaced priorities. The focus should be on student safety, comfort, and growth—not excessive control and cold indifference. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone.
